- A balance between memory and the present, where the existing and the new coexist in harmony with the place.A balance between memory and the present, where the existing and the new coexist in harmony with the place. The house opens to the landscape and lets the terrain shape its form, imposing no more than necessary.Spaces organised around light and views, with simple gestures designed for everyday life. The traditional house and the new volume side by side, each in its own time, joined by the same materials of the place.A balance between memory and the present, where the existing and the new coexist in harmony with the place.

An intervention that recovers the identity of traditional construction, reinterpreting it through a contemporary language. The project values the original elements of the house, from the ochre-painted plinths to the white facade, combining them with natural materials, clean lines and a fluid relationship between inside and outside. An intervention that recovers the identity of traditional construction, reinterpreting it through a contemporary language. The project values the original elements of the house, from the ochre-painted plinths to the white facade, combining them with natural materials, clean lines and a fluid relationship between inside and outside.A house drawn from the landscape, with the deck facing the sea and the elevations following the slope of the land. Materials and proportions follow what the place asks for, with open spaces and a clear reading between inside and out.An intervention designed around the living spaces: the entrance, the bedroom and the rear elevation are organised around light and views. The design seeks simplicity of gesture and comfort in the daily use of the house. The traditional house keeps the original rhythm of its openings. Beside it, the new volume runs low and long, its roof easing the pitch of the tiles. Glass, wood and local Santa Maria stone bring the two eras of the house together. An intervention that recovers the identity of traditional construction, reinterpreting it through a contemporary language.
